25th Hour had a retired community college president reach out with an idea to create a three tiered, professionally assessed credential separate from the traditional collegiate pathway, using a competency-based, association endorsed credentialing process to give artists/crafters a transcription of their accomplishments based on a novice, journeyman, and master crafter progression.

After doing market research and discussing goals with the client, 25th Hour knew Guild America needed to stand apart from 2 and 4-year colleges, while still having a professional, trustworthy look and feel. The branding is representative of a "hive mind" mentality, representing the transfer of knowledge from mentor to learner.
